Communicator of Achievement
Go for the gold! Each year KPC selects a member as the Communicator of Achievement. It is our top honor bestowed for contributions to the communications industry. The winner is then eligible to compete at the national level. Jill Miller of Wichita is our 2009 winner.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2010 KPC Communicator of Achievement. All that's needed is a short paragraph or two about the nominee, including awards and honors as well as professional accomplishments and community service. E-mail your nomination to Teresa Veazey, KPC webmaster, at kansasprocom@gmai.com.
High School Communications
Competition
Look to the future! KPC encourages young journalists by
offering a youth communications contest each year, giving
high school students a chance to compete with their peers
across the state.
Winners and their teachers are honored at the Patron/Scholarship
Luncheon at the annual conference.
Watch this space for the 2010 deadline. (The 2009 deadline was in late January.)
