Why Join?

Networking... professional growth and recognition... leadership development... these are only a few reasons to join Kansas Professional Communicators no matter what your area of communications:

Networking
Connect! Because our membership is diverse, you'll have access to leaders and trendsetters in the communications field across the state.

Annual Conference /
Professional Development

Stay savvy! KPC hosts its annual Spring Conference and local chapters present periodic workshops on a wide range of topics. We offer up speakers addressing hot topics pertinent to our profession, and roundtable discussions that stimulate an exchange of new ideas.

The National Federation of Press Women annual fall conference offers professional development seminars led by nationally-known professionals and the opportunity to network with colleagues in your field from across the nation.

Communications Contest
Win accolades and recognition! Our annual competition for members and nonmembers — including university students — offers categories reflecting the broad range of our professions. First place winners who are KPC and NFPW members advance to national competition. And, members pay a reduced entry fee.

State winners are honored at the Communications Contest Awards Banquet during the annual spring conference.

Deadline for entries in the 2010 contest will be Monday, January 11, 2010 (postmark deadline). Contest information can be found here.
